Summer is the most popular (and expensive) time to visit Iceland, and it’s also the most beautiful. From mid-June until the end of August, the whole of Iceland is open to visitors, from the remote Westfjords in the northwest to the barren and rugged interior. The roads are clear and you can get around easily by car, bus, bike, horse or on foot. Hiking, caving, horseback riding and camping are popular activities, and you can even hit the beach!

But still, summer in Iceland is one of the most magical experiences on earth
