The eruption on Heimaey being so recent, there were still pockets of 'newly formed land' that we couldn't walk on because they still generated too much heat! It was a wonderful tour. They didn't have the ferry ride then, but I'd love to take that! I'm sure it would be a marvelous ride. Corner
